Servicing Lantzville to Ladysmith
We at Pooch Pack Adventures are Professional Nanaimo Dog Walkers, specializing in 2 hour off-leash adventure hikes for your dog, and we are certified in Canine First Aid through DogSafe® and Walks ‘N’ Wags.
We don’t take responsibility lightly. We are fully insured, licensed, bonded and we are consistently improving our knowledge, resources, leadership and canine behavioural skills. We pride ourselves on our unparalleled reliability. Come rain, sleet, snow or sunshine your dog will get the exercise and socialization they signed up for!
Our off-leash dog walking services help meet the needs of your dog through leadership, exercise, play and reward, while creating a relaxed and well-balanced dog. Regular exercise combined with group activity will improve your dog’s health and confidence, and may help reduce some unwanted or destructive behaviour.
We start with an in-your-home consultation. We pick-up and drop-off to your home or office in a comfortable, climate controlled passenger van, we train advanced obedience while exploring and having a blast for 2 hours on the trails of Nanaimo’s back country. There is a quick clean-up after each hike, and your tired and happy pooch is returned home afterward very satisfied and well behaved.
Nanaimo’s back country covers a lot of ground! Even though the pack knows the trails like the back of their paws, we’ve invested in GPS collars for those who are new to the pack or for those who have no proven off-leash skills. The Garmin Astro 320 – 6 Dog System is used on dogs that are selected as more prone to wandering. Typically, most dogs don’t need to be tracked and new members are taught to stay within the pack boundaries so that in time they can graduate to a non-tracked member and don’t need to wear a GPS collar. There is no charge, however there is a limited amount of collars we can use at one time. Ask us about it if you are interested in having your dog wear one.
